U.S.V.I.- Banco Popular customers in the U.S. Virgin Islands now have access to more secure features through newly installed ATM machines.
To improve their offerings and provide an excellent experience to customers, Banco Popular announces the replacement of all their ATM machines in St. Croix, St. Thomas and St. John with new, enhanced machines. These machines provide Easy Deposit, a secure feature that allows customers to easily and quickly deposit funds into their accounts.
With Easy Deposit, customers can deposit checks or cash without envelopes or deposit slips. The new ATM machines provide a receipt once the transaction is accepted and completed. Checks from Popular accounts deposited on business days before 6:00 p.m. are processed on the same day, and funds can be available the next business day.
Cash funds deposited before 9:30p.m. will be available immediately for withdrawals and purchases. The new ATM machines accept 200 bills at once and reject bills of amounts higher than $100.
Easy Deposit does not allow international bank checks, foreign currency, double endorsements, deposits to accounts whose signee(s) is not the same company who wrote the check, coins, traveler's checks, savings bonds or copies of checks.
