Popular announced today that, given the limited access granted under the British Virgin Islands Curfew Order, the Tortola and Virgin Gorda branches will provide services to its clients until this Saturday. On Friday, April 3rd they will be attending clients from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. However, the Tortola branch drive thru will be available until 3:00 p.m. On Saturday, April 4th both branches will be operating from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Given the government's decision to maintain the curfew, after this grace period, operations in Tortola and Virgin Gorda will remain closed from Sunday April 5 through Thursday April 16th. Digital banking tools will remain available for Popular clients.
Meanwhile, branches located in the US Virgin Islands will remain operating with the following schedule:
Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.:
Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.:
The Hibiscus Alley branch located in St. Thomas will remain closed until further notice. ATM and commercial night depository will be available at Popular locations in US Virgin Islands.
All the Virgin Islands Region branches will provide services at the drive-thru and walk-up tellers windows only. No lobby service will be provided until further notice. It should be noted that commercial clients are asked to contact the branch for assistance.
Popular added that they adjusted TeleBanco service hours. They will remain available 7 days in the following schedule: 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. For assistance, clients may call 1-888-724-3659. Any additional changes in operations will be notified through social networks and news media.
