Continuing their commitment to the Virgin Islands community, Banco Popular presented a check of over $3,000 to the Family Resource Center, a local non-profit organization that provides free services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assaults and more.

“The Family Resource Center has been vital to the community for more than three decades and we are proud to continue our support to this organization. Their mission is an admirable one and a true example of how we can unite to support one another through difficult times and provide comfort to those in need,” stated Oran C. Bowry, Senior Vice President and Division Manager of Banco Popular’s Virgin Islands region.

The institution presented a check for $3,144.31 to Vernon Araujo from the Family Resource Center on August 26th. The amount raised was possible thanks to the local community and the Banco Popular Employee Club.
