Banco Popular Statement regarding Virgin Islands goverment employees that did not receive their payment

Banco Popular was unable to process V.I. government employees' payroll today due to a database error from the Department of Finance. We are working on the situation and employees will receive their payments no later than 2:00 p.m. today

In the meantime, employees may bring their pay stubs, photo i.d. and account number to any Banco Popular branch in the Virgin Islands and conduct their transactions. 

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and remain committed to our clients.
