Due to the recent British Virgin Islands Cabinet order, Popular announced today that all operations in Tortola and Virgin Gorda will be closed from Friday, March 27 through April 2, 2020. Nevertheless, all digital banking tools will remain available.  

Meanwhile, the branches located in the US Virgin Islands will remain open with the announced special hours of operations and the following implemented adjustments:   

  • Branches will provide services at the drive-thru and walk-up tellers windows only. 

  • No lobby service will be provided until further notice. 

  • Commercial clients are asked to contact the branch for assistance. 


The following branches will be operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.: 

St. Thomas: 

  • Main Office 

  • Sugar Estate 

  • Ft. Mylner 

  • Red Hook 

St. Croix: 

  • Orange Grove 

  • Sunny Isle 

  • Sunshine Mall  

 

The following branches will offer services Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.: 

St. Thomas 

  • Main Office 

  • Ft. Mylner 

St. Croix 

  • Orange Grove 

  • Sunny Isle 

The Hibiscus Alley branch located in St. Thomas will be closed until further notice. ATM and commercial night depository will remain available at all Popular locations in US Virgin Islands. 

Popular reminds its clients that they can count on the digital banking tools available to conduct their transactions without having to visit a branch. To learn about the digital services available, visit: www.popular.vi/online-banking/   

TeleBanco service will remain available 24 hours, 7 days a week at 1-888-724-3659. The institution urged its clients to use the Drive-thru and digital services to facilitate their transactions without needing to visit a branch.  

The safety of Popular clients and employees is the institution’s priority. Given the coronavirus (COVID-19) threat, Popular may continue to implement measures to protect everyone’s health as well as to ensure the continuity of the services. Any changes in operations will be notified through their social networks and news media.
